How to fix dropped 2 color brioche stitch

Knitting Harlow Flip ( Ravelry: Harlow Flip pattern by Andrea Mowry ) and dropped a stitch at my first Rnd 1.

First time knitting 2 color brioche and feeling kinda lost after watching some youtube videos..

Tubular Row A: Using MC, {sl1 wyif, k1-tbl} to the end of the row. Do not turn, slide.

Tubular Row B: Using CC, {p1, sl1 wyib} to the end of the row.

Place a BOR marker and join to work in the round, taking care not to twist the stitches.

Setup Rnd A: Using MC, {yf-sl1yo, k1} around, drop MC.

Setup Rnd B: Using CC, {brp1, sl1yo} around, dropping CC to the front after the final sl1yo.

Rnd 1A: Using MC, {yf-sl1yo, brk1} around, drop MC.

Would appreciate any help so that I dont need to frog and start again! Thanks!!

This is a pretty clear description of how to pick up sts in two color brioche.

It may be easier to fix your stitch if you flip to the other side. See if it helps and if not come back and let us know.

thank you. I’m a bit confused because I don’t know where is my first stitch (the one I should try to lift).

this is the backside. could you tell me where i should find this stitch?

This is so much easier to do in person. I’m not sure about this but give it a try.

Pull the long multi-color strand through the multi-color stitch at the tip of the right needle so it is a knit stitch. Use a crochet hook or another needle to reach under the multi-color loop (blue dot), grap the blue loop (red dot) and pull it through. Place the blue loop on the right needle and put the long multi-color loop over it (as a yarn over).
Then turn to work the round with the blue strand.

In future with this brioche and with other projects, a lifeline is very helpful.

I know you said you didn’t want to cast on again, but as you’re only 1 row in, that’s probably what I’d do.

You might also consider making a swatch to practice picking up dropped stitches. You could use any yarn at all for this, maybe in high-contrast colors.
