please can someone help I am trying to create a star that is double the size of the original pattern I have tried several times adjusting the number of times I do a couple of rows I have tried doubling stitch numbers but to no avail. please can someone help!!! I need these stars for a baby blanket I am creating asap

Are you following a pattern? If so which one? Provide a link if you can.

Are you making them separate and are they to be sewn on after the blanket is done or are you doing intarsia? You could use graph paper to draw one and try that.

The stars are to be made separate from the blanket and the blanket is finished. I am going to sew them on once they r made. The link for the pattern is http://bit.ly/knitstar

Not sure how much bigger you want them, but maybe using a star dishcloth pattern? I don’t think there is an easy way to make the ones you have bigger without a lot experimentation and ripping.
