How to CO for 2 items using Magic Loop

If you’ve tried to CO to knit 2 items (socks, mittens, sleeves) using Magic Loop, but couldn’t figure out how, this is how I did it. The prob I had doing it on my own was that I kept ending up with my working end of the yarn in the wrong direction on the needles and would have to take 1/2 or more stitches off and put them back on one at a time. And when it’s just a CO row like that, they all fall apart.

I used the info from http://www.knitaddicted.com/files/MagicLoop.pdf to do it.

You first CO 1/2 of the stitches for the first item. Then all of the stitches for the second item. Then split the stitches for the second item by bending the cable and pulling it out. Last, CO the rest of the stitches for the second item.

I did have to turn it around in my hands a few times after to make sure when I started that the working yarn was in the back.

BEAUTIFUL!

HTH someone!
