I am making a gryffindor scarf from atypically knit which requires alternating 22 rows of each color the whole length of the scarf. I am done with the first block of 22 rows in the maroon color, now I need to start the gold but I can not find a video or instructions on how to do this. Help!
Because the colors are a wide band I would cut the first yarn and just start knitting with the new color. If the hole bothers you you can loosely tie the yarn ends together and then weave them in at the end. Crossing them and weaving hides the hole.
To help the ‘jog’ that is created when knitting in the round with a new color here’s some ideas. I personally usually do the method at the first link, but the second one looks interesting. Might try that one sometime.
