I want to knit a simple top down seamless raglan baby (12 month) cardigan. Under supplies it states:
3 (4,4) skeins sublime organic cotton DK (120 yards)
Does this mean its 120 yards times 3 or 4 skeins? Or is 120 yards the total within the total number of skeins?
Each skein is 120yards and depending on the size you knit, you either buy three or four (three for the smallest size) so, the total amount needed would either be 360 yds or 480 yds.
Each skein is 120 yds. So you need either 360 yds for the smaller two sizes or 480 yds for the larger size. I always buy one extra myself just for safety.
