I’ve made progress on the 2nd Girlfriend Swing Coat. I am on the second sleeve and I’ve decided to make them 3/4 length instead. The pattern says to make a 3 year old size sleeve 10 inches.
So does anyone know how long a 3/4 sleeve should be for this age? It’s hard to gauge when I don’t have a 3 year old model to try it on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you look on my blog you can see how long the 10 inches is vs. a now 71/2 which is still on the needles.

On page 10 or this pdf chart you will find body sizes, perhaps that will help you. Personally, I would think a 3/4 sleeve would be around 7 inches, if full length is 10 inches
Wow, Rebecca! I love that chart. I’ve saved a copy on my computer!
I just measured my 3yr old’s arm and from right in his armpit down to his wrist it measured about 10" and from the inside of his elbow to his wrist was 5", so I’d say anywhere from 7-7.5" would be good for a 3/4 length sleeve. Hope this is helpful. (Good thing my kids like to be measured!!)
