I’ve been trying to find out what kind of stitch is used for a knit tie. The knit ties I have look like they are stitched with eyelets, but I’m not sure if the stitch has a certain name.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I’ve seen several knit ties with different pattern. Do you have a picture of the one you want to do.
I’ll find a picture and post one.
Could you tell me anything about this one?

Matt your picture is much too large. Please resize it to no larger than 800 on the longest side. Thanks.
It could be - knit on RS, YO k2tog on WS. Try that over about 12 sts and see if it looks similar. It would be done with thin yarn on smallish needles, sock yarn and size 3 or 4 maybe.
if I would knit a tie, I would make it with seed stitch, I guess (knit 1 purl 1 and then continue to purl the knits and knit the purls).
I am not a fan of knit ties, but everybody’s taste is different.
seed stitch is NOT what your picture shows, it is just a different option, but it would also give you that softly bumpy look and would not curl (like st st would).
