I am making some slippers, and have only gotten a couple of steps into the pattern. This pattern uses the two-circular technique, so I’m going to be using to CN. I first CO 35 sts (long tail CO) then knit one row. Then the patterns says, “with 2nd needle pick up and knit into the CO loops 35 (40) times. 70 (80)sts total, evenly divided onto two needles.” Does anybody know what that means? I am so confused
I think that may mean to knit into the bottom of the cast on sts. So your sts will be going in different directions, like this where the ----- is your needle:
Thanks for your reply-
Do you think that means I should be using the Looped/Invisible Cast On instead of the Long Tail CO, so that I actually have something to knit into?

That might be better for this method. The mobius cast on is much easier to use; it’s like the provisional CO shown on the cast ons page, except you use the other part of your cord instead of another yarn. There’s a video on Youtube - CAT BORDHI - Moebius CO
