How do you attach garment to knit project like bag?

hi,
i just finished making a bag…i sew garment inside by hand…
but i still would like to hear your experience in doing this…do you sew by hand? or by sewing machine?..

A garment? Do you mean you lined the bag? When I line anything I just use a needle and thread and sew small stitches.

I think you are talking about putting a lining in your bag. I agree with Jan, I would do it by hand.
