Yes, it’s just some beads strung on elastic, then knotted in a circle, that all the strands go through I put it on elastic so that the beads would slide through when stretched, but NOT slide through when not stretched.

I don’t have any type of counter yet, although to keep track of when I need to twist my cables I do check off lines on paper but this is a much more elegant solution I think 
I’ll be at my parents tonight so I’ll see if I have time to look for, and dig out some beads otherwise it’ll have to wait a bit longer. I’ll try to take pictures once I’ve got one done; but my boyfriend drowned (is that the word? English is hard sometimes!) his digicam a few weeks ago so it might take while sigh

I work at an alternative high school during the year which services all the district schools in the county. In the summer, the Special Ed students who are on a 12-month program all come here. Nice group of kids. I don’t want to scar them! My regular students, however, would wear that skirt (not an illusion) if they could get away with it! :rollseyes:
