How do I shave felt?

Very silly question here…but what’s the best way for one to shave a felted item?

I want to knit a dark bag, but the only yarn I have available is Burkshire and when it felt is very hairy. We are talking 1/2"+ here…

How can I shave this off?

I use a disposable razor. It does the trick :thumbsup:

And be sure there is something firm on the inside of the bag so you can get nice and close.

And some bags need regular attention with a razor until all the looser fibers that are going to pill and fuxx have done so. My Kureyon bags – yeesh, it seemed like I shaved them weekly for a month or so until they settled down.
