How do I end a row with YO?

How exactly do I end a YO, and then start the next row (using SPNs)? I’m just not sure where exactly my yarn is supposed to go

A yo really is created when you knit the next stitch, so I’d make the yo as the first stitch of the next row. It’d be at the same spot. I don’t know how you’d make a yo without that stitch after it to hold it over the needle.

Hold the yarn in the front and bring it over the needle when you knit the first stitch.

your using DPNs so you’re knitting circularly? Won’t the first stitch of the next ‘row or roand’ be the stitch that anchors it?

I took SPN’s to mean single-pointed needles.

If that’s a typo, then you just have to knit the first stitch with the yarn in front.
