I needed to buy some yarn to make some belts for my friend’s dd’s. I put the skeins in my cart and went to check out. It said “You can add $6.95 (or something like that) without increasing your shipping charge.” I didn’t NEED anything else, but I went ahead and ordered 3 skeins of sock yarn to keep from wasting my shipping money.
OMG, I thought I was the only one that did that. Do you also buy enough to get free shipping (if they offer it) instead of just paying for it? I always end up paying waaaay more. Trust me, it’s not and addiction, it’s just frugal…right?
My shopaholic Australian sister in law always says during the sales “the more you spend the more you save” - the same applies in this instance - the more you spend the more you save, spend more have free postage!! :cheering:
Doesn’t everyone do that? It’s just silly not too when they are so kind enough to tell you how much more you need to spend to get the free shipping! :teehee:
