I’m planning a stripy hooded cardigan which I’d like to adapt from a pre-existing pattern to ensure it goes correctly. (I’m fairly new to knitting so I don’t want to fly blind!)
I’ve found a pattern on Ravelry that has all of the features I need (stripes, set-in sleeves, hood, super bulky weight wool) but it’s in a magazine from 2009 that I can’t work out how to find.
Here’s the pattern I mean:
Does anyone have access to this pattern? Or does anyone have a similar pattern with the same features that you might be able to put me on to?
Thank you so much!

An advanced search on Ravelry specifying cardigan, superbulky yarn turns up several similar patterns including the one you linked to. Of the ones I saw, you would have to make up your own stripe pattern or use a self-striping yarn.
You might also try the Pattern Detectives on Ravelry. If the pattern is out there, they’ll locate it or something similar.

Hello
I get frustrated by the number of patterns on Ravelry that I can’t get access to because they are from magazines or discontinued. I try to remember to filter for those that are available free/to buy on ravelry to try to avoid disappointment.
It looks pretty hard to find a pattern with the features you want, perhaps a compromise will be needed until you feel confident to work up a modification or your own pattern?
There are a variety of cardigans in super bulky which don’t have a hood (a hood could be added if your up for a challeneg? Or there are some seperate hood patterns out there, or hooded scarves which could be worn with a cardy), or perhaps accepting a lighter weight yarn so that you have more options in the hooded style?
This one is listed as worsted weight but the yarn is held double, making a gauge of 12 sts per 10 cm on 8mm needles, so a single strand of chunky/bulky would work (always swatch), and stripes are probably the easiest modification to add, there is a paid for version and a free version
The cardigan you chose uses self striping yarn which is why the stripes do not align on the two front panels. You could choose a self striping yarn or choose a bunch of different colours to work with if you wanted clean stripes which are aligned.
Or perhaps a lighter weight, like this one which has a very nicely shaped hood
There’s a couple here which could have stripes added, although they are not super bulky
