This looks like a lovely place and I will enjoy getting some tips and patterns from you all.
I have just found out that I am expecting our 3rd child after trying for summer (Southern Hemisphere) baby for awhile.
I now feel inspired to do something.
My MIL is a fabulous knitter and has made all my children beautiful blankets and cardigans etc. But It’s time for me to do something I think and learn. I tried with my MIL but I don’t think we really get along very well, or are even on the same page on any issues.
Any ideas beside booties for my up coming bub? Remember it will be a HOT summer baby…does anyone have a good pattern for those cute nappy/diaper covers?
Welcome Mumzy! Congrats on your little one! Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl?
One project that works for babies at any time is a wee blanket - not a huge bedspread, just something that will keep them warm during naps. I made the Log Cabin blanket from Mason Dixon Knitting for a friend’s baby this spring. It’s a very simple pattern (all garter stitch), but it looks really nice, especially if you use several colors.
