Hi I’m stuck I’m knitting a lace pattern and the stitch numbers are changing constantly and there are not enough to complete each row

2nd row -purl
3rd row- k1, *yfwd,s1,k2tog,psso,yfwd,k3,repfrom * ending yfwd,s1, k2tog, psso,yfwd,k1
4th row- purl

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
The pattern is probably telling you that the last repeat in row 1 is a partial repeat. That means work row 1 with the repeat until 4sts remain then work the final repeat as yfwd,s1,k2tog,psso,yfwd,k1

The same goes for row 3. Work the repeat until 4sts remain then work the final repeat as yfwd,s1,k2tog,psso,yfwd,k1 which is given in the pattern.

If this isn’t working let us know the original stitch number for row 1.
