hi
making my first pair of socks n it said’s slip 1, knit 1
but do i slip 1 knit 1 slip1 knit 1 across or slip 1 knit 1 as you can see i’m confused.

Is that the name of the pattern, I don’t mean the stitch pattern? Do you have a link to the pattern, or where it comes from? We need a bit more information about the whole thing before we can help.

Sounds like you’re doing the heel flap? In that case you do a Sl 1, k 1, sl 1, k1, sl 1, k1, etc. to end of row. Then turn and sl1, purl across all stitches.
