Help with terminology needed

This is an extract from a pattern for a bag which will be felted when finished…

CO 80 stitches, PM and join, being careful not to twist.
Knit, slipping marker each time, for one ball of yarn (Measures approximately 12-1/2”).
Add second ball. Knit one row. Purl one row. Knit one row. Purl one row (three rows garter stitch).
Ruffle: (For some added flare, add novelty yarn here and knit with the two together.)
Knit front and back of every stitch. Knit one row even.
Next Row: K1, f/b, K1 Repeat all stitches. Knit three rows even. BO all stitches.

Could someone tell me what “knit three rows even” means? I am assuming that it is just telling me to knit three rows, but I can’t find a reference to it anywhere else. Am I missing something?

Thanks

The row immediately before that was an increase row. Knit three rows even just means that you don’t have to increase anymore, just knit the stitches you have.

Hi Abbily, that was a very fast response :cheering: I’m glad I was thinking along the right lines.

I think I had to ask someone that once, too.
