Help with square shawl fairytale pattern

Hi I am knitting my first square shawl patons fairytale 8008 and have come across an issue withe peaks. I only have 30 peaks on each side after using up all the stitches of each border. Now I don’t know how to do the corners. Should you cast on 17 stitches every side or continue using the peak stitches from the previous side. Any help appreciated

Welcome to KH!
The shawls look gorgeous from what I can see on Ravelry. Can you tell us the name of the particular pattern in this pamphlet?

It may also help if you can quote the directions for a couple of rows in the area in question (the border?). Don’t give us a large portion of the pattern due to copyright please.

Then you cast on 17 St on the end of the last row of the border then work your way back n forth turning until all the border stitches are used up. But I’m not sure what to do at each corner it is unclear.

Usually you would continue around the corner and onto the next section of the rectangle. Can you quote the directions for the corners if there are any or else perhaps the finishing at the end of the pattern?
