Help with pattern instructions

I would like to make the Tasha shawl, but I’m fairly new to knitting and don’t know exactly what to do when I reach row 6. Help please!

Instructions: CO 3 sts.
Row 1 yo, k3.
Row 2 yo, k4.
Row 3 yo, k2tog, yo,k3.
Row 4 yo, k2tog, yo,k4.
Row 5 yo, k2tog, yo,k5.
Continue in this manner working a yo, k2tog, yo at the beginning of every row until you have used up 3 skeins of yarn.

What exactly do I do for rows 6 and after? Hope this will all make sense someday. Thanks

On row 6 and after, start with YO, k2tog, YO, then just knit the rest of the stitches to the end of the row; you don’t have to count them.

That is how I interpet it to just repeat the last instructions. You don’t need to count the rows after that.

Thank you! I’ll give this a try and will be back again I’m sure when I get to the lace edging instructions!

Actually I meant you don’t need to count the stitches after the first set… just knit to the end of the row however long it is.
