Help with meaning of Patt in a pattern?

:?: what does it mean when it says Patt 8 (or another number) I know that Patt means pattern and to continue the pattern, but what soed the number mean?

Welcome Cdenney!

Perhaps they mean work in the regular stitch pattern they’ve outlined, for 8 stitches? I’d have to see it in context to be sure.

There are four rows of pattern previous to this. It makes the cable. Could it mean 8 rows. There is also a pattern 25 and a pattern 10.

I would ask to see a picture and the pattern, but I think I’d have to see the whole pattern section, and that might be pushing copyrights…

This sounds like a job for your wonderful LYS folks!
