I started a pattern using magic loop then slipped off stitches onto scrap yarn and re-inserted a circ. needle because I only had one size 11 tips with my interchangeables. Now my working yarn is coming from the left needle, and the work is turned around. In other words my wrong side is facing me and my working yarn is hanging from the left needle. Is there anyway to turn it around so my working yarn is hanging from the right needle and the front of the work is facing me? Done quite a bit and don’t want to start over.
Thank you.
Try turning it over and pushing it through.
You mean have the right side facing me and just work the needles back through?
Imagine that it’s an inside-out sleeve. Push it through the circle of the cord and hold it so the right side is facing you and the knitting is down. Your yarn should be on the right tip and you should be ready to go.
Thanks, but that won’t work. I casted on 8 sts and am knitting a circle for the bottom of a stuffed toy, not like a hat. But I think I have figured out what I can do.
Thank you though.
