Help with incredible crochet ribbon scarf

so i really want to try this pattern but don’t know how to crochet, well i do but its been years and i don’t remember how. I would like to try to knitt this one, the yarn well ribbon looks cool and just wanna try it out.
so i guess my main questions is how do i convert this crochet pattern to a knit one? i am clueless on how to do it.

would i just knit normaly or is there some trick?

the pattern is Lion Brand Incredible crochet ribbon scarf i went to the site but does not show a knitting pattern for it. it does say on the paper pattern i have that it takes 10.5 needles.

Can you give us a link to the pattern?

umm not sure how but it can be viewed at Lionbrand.com under incredible crochet ribbon scarf

ill attempt to link

lol it worked YAY

It looks like the pattern just uses single crochets all the way, so i think that if you wanted to just make a knit gauge swatch to get roughly the same gauge, you could probably do plain stockinette or garter stitch.

Also, you probably won’t need as much yarn as the pattern calls for, as crochet takes more yarn than knitting, but you might just want to buy it all since it only takes 3 balls, and you might want to make your scarf longer or a bit wider.

Here’s some more information for you:
