Help with finishing a purse that will be felted!

I have completed a purse that will be felted and I have a few trouble spots. Since I couldn’t really figure out how to explain them I made pictures that I resized on photobucket with their forum option. I hope this works! If anyone has trouble please send me a message and I’ll fix it. I’m still really new at this!

Here are the problems I am having.

Since it will be felted, I’d just sew the hole closed.

The first picture is the top edge? Just join them with a yarn and needles.

Any other odd-looking stitches will disappear when you felt.:thumbsup:

do you mean just sew the top edge up? that is what it ended up looking like when i was binding off and i don’t know why

There is often a gap when you bind off in the round. Pull your tail through the first stitch on the other side of the gap and secure it. It’ll tighten right up.
