Next row K3, m1, k to last 3 sts, m1 , k3.
Cant in st st and inc one st, as before, at each end of every fall 4th row until there are
60(66:74) sts.;'
Cant straight until sleeve measures 16(19:22)cm/6Ya(7~:8Y.)in from cast-on edge, ending
with a prow.
Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. …
Dec one st at each end of the next and 2(3:4) fall alt rows. 48(52:58) sts.
Cast off.
The shape of the sleeve cap doesn’t match the space it will fit into on the front and back? Or the width of the sleeve before the decreases is too short?
I think it would help to have just the (1) pattern directions for the back of the sweater from the armhole decreases to the top of the shoulder and (2) st and row gauge.
the sleeve edge is to big on the front and back for the top of the sleeve. i am thinking that the pattern is wrong i have looked for a correction can’t find one and i am fairly new to this. it is the first pattern that i have done
Maybe. You can checkonline and see if there are any corrections for this pattern.
Why don’t you count the number of sleeve sts you have before the sleeve decrease and make sure that number is the same as the pattern calls for [60(66,74) depending on the size you’re making]? Also, check the length of the front and back from the armhole decrease to make sure that length is what the pattern is calling for.
i just through that there may have been other people on here, that might have done the pattern before and came across the problem before. i will go up to the shop where, i got the yarn. they have been helpful in the past few weeks and are better knitters than i .
can’t wait for these knitting lessons to start
thank you for your help
