I’m knitting the bubble stitch beanie from studio knit for Christmas and the pattern says to put a pompom on top. The recipient doesn’t want the pompom, but the crown of the hat looks strangely flat without one.
Can anyone tell me a way to decrease in pattern? Or just in a way that looks better
You might try alternating a decrease round with a plain knit round for say the first 5 decrease rounds. That’ll give you a more gentle slope.
