Help with Celtic Charm pattern

I need help with Celtic Charm pattern by Marguerite Wilson. Has anyone been able to complete this pattern? I have a problem in pattern A: rows 13-24. Knit rows 1-12, then rows 13-24 say to repeat rows 1-12. Is this correct? I have knitted it twice and it doesn’t come out for me. I’ve contacted the books publisher but they haven’t been any help. TIA KWest

I don’t know the pattern, but this sounds right for many stitch patterns. They may have you repeat the previous rows in the pattern.

Thanks for your reply.
The repeated rows won’t work in this pattern. I didn’t give enough info. in my post. I’ll try to give more detail this time.

Pattern reads:

Row 1:
work row 1 of pattern A.
work row 1 of pattern B.
work row 1 of pattern C.
work row 1 of pattern D.
work row 1 of pattern A.

Row 2:
work row 2 of pattern A.
work row 2 of pattern D.
work row 2 of pattern C.
work row 2 of pattern B.
work row 2 of pattern A.

Pattern B, C, and D have 24 rows.
Pattern A says do rows 1-12, then rows 13-24. Rows 13-24 are a repeat of rows 1-12. This is where I’m having trouble. I’ve knitted it twice and ripped it twice! It doesn’t look right. HELP PLEASE!?

TIA KWest

Okay, you have 4 st patterns and you work them across. Since B C and D have 24 rows and A has only 12, then you have to work the A pattern twice for every single repeat of B c and D. So on Row 13, work row 1 of A and row 13 of the other patterns. Row 14 is Row 2 of A and row 14 of the others.

Thank you, I’ll try again.:knitting:
