Help with bag bottom

Hi everyone
Maybe someone could help understand how the bottom of the bag is done so that it has these side stitches on the bottom? ( marked with red)
I thought maybe it was a rectangular bottom crocheted upwards? Or if anyone is aware pls help

Good looking bag!

I think it’s more likely to be an oval bottom, with increases at four “corners” (even though there aren’t any corners). Looks like 2sc into 1 sc.

You could try making a small sample, starting with a chain of maybe 10 stitches, work it into an oval, mark your “corners” and do a few increase rounds, just to see if it works.

It might not even really have a bottom section as such, so you could try increasing right away after you’ve worked both sides of your chain into an oval.

Or you could just buy the pattern. She has several similar bags on Ravelry, but maybe this one?

It looks like increasing to me too. I can’t tell that there is or isn’t a actual bottom piece either oval or rectangle.
