The pattern I have for a hooded sweater www.bernat.com
demistyle hooded sweatshirt, knits the hood seperately and attaches it after. As I am a fairly new knitter and have never knitted a sweater with a hood before I am not sure what to do. Do I sew it on using a thread?

Usually when you attach any part of a knitted garment together, you use the yarn that you knit with. Mattress stitch is a great way to get a good seam. Amy has videos on it.

Firstly, if you have some left, you use the same yarn you have been knitting with to do the seaming… and if you scroll down [color=red]THIS [/color]page to the ‘finishing’ section, this should help you - I tend to use mattress stitch myself for most things, but see which you prefer.
