If I had ever done two color knitting before, I might possibly have gotten past the first part of the directions that say “Attach CC and begin corrugated rib”. I have done the two rows of the MC on circular needles ( are circulars ok to use??), but where and how do I “attach” the other color??? Maybe this doesn’t bode well for actually knitting these mittens!!! Sally
I looked it up Ravelry…pretty mittens! Are they knit in the round? You can certainly use Magic Loop or 2 circs if you don’t want to use DPNs. You just have to wrap your mind around what she’s saying if she mentions a certain needle or something. (If it’s knit flat then it doesn’t matter what needles you use either since it’s just back and forth.)
Basically you just start knitting with a new color, but there are some helpful techniques. Check the videos here;

Thanks for your reply! I looked at the videos, and maybe I am trying to make this more complicated than it needs to be, but I still don’t get the “attach” part of the directions for the second color. Do I leave a tail hanging and just knit a stitch with the new ball of yarn onto the needle?
Yes, that works just fine for starting a new color. When you are done you can weave in the ends. I have to ask though… is this your first fair isle? With fair isle you work with both colors across the work. I use two hands. Here’s a tutorial on how to do that.
