I’m having trouble with this pattern,
Not sure I’m doing this right.
I’m not understanding this Row 20: Rejoin B, k6, *sl1 wyib, [insert needle in next st, wrap yarn twice around the needle, pull through and drop st off LH needle] 5 times; rep from * to last 7 sts, sl1 wyib, k6.
Row 21 (Inc & Buttonhole): K2, yo, k2tog, k2, *sl1 wyif, slip
Knit to end
What is the name and designer of your pattern? It will be helpful to see what you’re making.

Thank you for your help
Welcome to the forum!
London Loop has lots of patterns. Can you tell us the name of the specific pattern and designer?

Maybe this one? (There are errata noted for the two larger sizes). The directions aren’t exactly the same but are close.
This technique is used in making broomstick lace and wrapping the yarn twice around the needle is shown here. You’ll repeat it over sets of 5sts remembering to slip 1 with yarn in back between the elongated stitch pattern.

Row 21 starts out with a buttonhole so that’s separate from the following directions for the lace pattern.
Thank you! This is just what i needed!
