Hi from Australia.
I am knitting the ‘Cosy Sweater’ from the Debbie Bliss Essential Kids pattern book. I cannot work out the left sleeve. If you follow from cast off 2sts purl to end it says next row purl to end. From there it makes the top rows showing the purl sts on the right side of sleeve and sewing up is a battle as it is twisted when sewn up as from pattern instructions. Is it me or a mistake in the pattern? Please help…
G’day Annebal451,
Welcome to The Forum!
Ok, I’ve had a quick look to see if I can find the pattern, no deal! But there is a look-see on Ravelry for your pattern and down the page a bit, there’s a link for Errata, so with that there, I’ll assume there are errors in the printed Debbie Bliss book you’ve got. Unfortunately, the link on Ravelry doesn’t work. Might be worth contacting either Ravelry to fix link or Debbie Bliss for corrections.
Cheers

PS, if you can get hold of the corrections and that’s not the problem, maybe you could upload the section of pattern you’re having trouble with so the fam can have a look and point you in the right direction.
Cheers again

Debbie Bliss’s designs are so attractive but there is often a problem with pattern errors.
That’s the case here where there is a note in this project about the left sleeve.

There’s a link in a second project but the link is broken and hasn’t been archived.
As Doubleknitmadness mentioned you can post a row or two of the pattern for the sleeve. Don’t give us a large portion of the pattern due to designer copyright.
The sweater is in stockinette so maybe just changing the purl row that shows on the RS to a knit row will correct the problem?
There is a debbie bliss site here
And a contact page is available on the drop down menu

Perhaps you can message to ask about the error and/or ask where errata is available. If you have a book it would be useful for you to know where the corrections are listed so you can check or amend other patterns in the book.
