My pattern tells me to knit to a certain length, ending with a ws row.
Ok I have been doing a knit row / purl row / sooo, is my last row a knit row or a purl row. Is the ws facing me, which means I just finished my knit row? Or am I wrong? It’s confusing … to me anyways.
Thank you!!
If you are knitting flat and doing a knit row alternating with a purl row you have one side that is smooth vees and the other bumps. Either side can be designated the right side depending on the look you want. Most commonly the smooth vees are on the outside or right side. If that is what you are doing then when it says
ending with a ws row
it means to purl your last row. Of course, you wanted the purl bump side to be the outside then the opposite would be true.
Thank you so much … yes the non-bumpy side is the right side, so I will purl my row and continue …
