Help! Turn piece and continue rib pattern for dog sweater!

I bought Debbie Humphreys book to knit dog sweaters and supporting dogs in need of adoption.

I’m stuck!
This is the book: ! image|900x1200

Here’s the the jumper I’m trying to knit:

The instructions after doing the neck is that the inside of the tube will be the right side of the neck rib. Therefore, I need to turn the piece inside out and continue pattern. I’ll paste a photo of the instructions here:

I’ve done turn and change direction before, but never when I’ve continued a rib pattern.

What am I supposed to do without leaving a significant row after the turn?

This is the work without turning, the thing that Debbie would call the wrong side:

Welcome to the forum!
You’re currently knitting the tube with the needles close to you and the circle of knitting in your lap, is that correct? That’s the way the knitting is oriented in your photo.
To me it’s easier to work the increase row as given in the Next round, k3, increase between the two purl sts. That will give you a k3p3 rib. Once the increase round is complete, turn the knitting inside out.

When you turn the knitting inside out keep the same orientation, tips of the needles close to you and the circle of knitting in your lap. Now you’ll be knitting back over the sts you just finished on the round.

Once you’ve knit a few rows you’ll be able to check that the folded over collar is the k3p2 rib that you want with the body in the k3p3 rib. Before you make the increases, it would be very, very helpful to have a lifeline in place just in case this isn’t working. You’ve knit the collar so beautifully so far that you want to preserve that.

Now it’s finished. I just need to fix the loose ends.
