Help plzz :(

I just started doing a scarf…I don’t know what is this pattern called…my friend thought me how to do it…
One needle yesterday fall down and there were something like a loop or a tie…I tried to open it but I couldnot and am afraid to ruin it…
I don’t want to open the whole thing coz I did around 15cm already…
Any suggestion…?
I hope that my explanation were clear.

You can’t imagine all the mistakes people make when they’re learning to knit! It sounds like the needle fell out of the stitches?. . .happens to everyone. But to try to help you get it back, is there anyway you can post a digital photo so we can see what happened, exactly? If not, try just ripping back a row or 2-- then maybe you can see your stitches and can put the needle back in. I’m sure you don’t need to rip back the entire scarf. There is a video on here about fixing mistakes-- that might help, too.

plz check the links…i hope that they r clear  thanks

I’m not sure what that is. :?? I think I would rip back a few rows or tink back (unknit) which is to go back stitch by stitch. If it’s not very wide (like a scarf) I would probably do that.

Here’s some instruction for tinking and more-

Yes, this is very helpful! That last loop you’re holding out in the 2nd photo?-- just loop it back onto the needle. It also looks like in the first photo, that you have circled, that maybe you didn’t quite catch the stitch. But from the picture, it doesn’t look like it will cause a problem. It depends on how perfect you want this to be. If really, really perfect, can you get your friend to help you take back 1 or 1 rows? Or you might be able to figure out how to do it on your own-- just put your needle in the loop below and grab that “older” stitch and pull out the yarn from the “new” stitch that was on the needle. That way your needle being in the old stitch, you won’t lose it, it won’t unravel on you. If you do that across the whole row, stitch by stitch, you will then have a “clean” row of sts to work with. You might even have to do it on 2 rows, just to get a good clean row to work with. How many sts did you start with at the beginning of the scarf? That’s how many you should have on a “clean” row. And by the way, it looks like you are working in garter stitch-- that means that you are just doing all knit stitches and no purls. Is that right?

It sounds like you were able to fix it and keep going-- yay:cheering: . Yes, everyone’s first project has some blips in it somewhere. But keep at it and before you know it, you’ll either learn to knit mistake free, or hide the problems really well!
