I assume that this is the pattern you are referring to?? It doesn’t really give different sizes per se, but it does tell you how to make a custom fit top.
The bust size doesn’t really matter because it’s not a sweater that needs to close in the front. What matters more is the neck measurement at the collarbone. The pattern is for a 16" neckline but she gives directions for figuring out the number of stitches to cast on if you have a larger neck measurement. That should be the first thing to figure out before worrying about the increases.
AWith this pattern you can just do the increases until your sleeves and/or back measurement is the right size. If you knit the short version (some have made longer ones or with longer sleeves) you don’t have to worry about bust size because it’s fastened at the neck. You can always make it longer below the sleeves and do increases under the arm where the `seams’ would be.
to accomodate my rather ample bust, I did an increase at the inside of the Knit 3 on the right side knitting
it made a Overlaped pattern for the front
if you did that for every other RS Row it would make a shallower overlap
as I am a 44DD and it is a full overlap almost to the Hip
someday i will get a good Pic of it for you all
