Hi everyone:
I need to find a pattern for a men’s neck warmer (or gaiter) to make for my dad. Does anyone know of any patterns? I been looking around the internet, but haven’t found anything yet. Please help me!
Thanks!

Have you checked www.knittingpatterncentral.com ? They`ve got a bunch under either scarves or Winter wear. I saw a cool one - I think it was called Doh-nut or something like that, that was made with 2 different varigated yarns - looked cool! Check it out! ( and let us know )

I think that Cherry Garcia would be great for a man, you just might need to use a yarn that has a slightly different gauge (fewer sts per inch) to make it a little bigger. IMO it would look awesome in a tweedy masculine yarn.
Circular Ribbed Neckwarmer
Cabled Neckwarmer
Short Row Neckwarmer (covers face up to nose)
Neckwarmer / Dickey
I just knitted this one for myself and am planning to knit another for a guy pal of mine: http://www.pretendingsanity.com/knitting_iframe.php?id=26
I prefer the ones you don’t have to pull over your head.
Cheers,

i do know of a warm but still masculine pattern from a book called
Knitting with balls, it is a mobius type wrap for around a mans neck composed of a rich mohair and then a thicker merino. the book has great patterns for men and i highly reccomend it.
Here is one for a knitting machine, but you could easily substitute knitting needles for it. I would use size 9 or 10
