I am trying this pattern

and when it says repeat from * there is no star that I can see. I’m on Row 1 after the ribbing. Help me quick!

Since the pattern is a 16 stitch panel repeated 5 times around, the repeat is the stitches in the parentheses: (pm, p2, 4stRC, p4, 4stLC, p2)*

It is confusing, no doubt.

I have already continued in that manner becasue i just couldn’t wait! Row 3 is even more confusing but now that you mention that it’s a 16 stitch panel that should make the rest of it easier to decipher. I didn’t even think to look at that. Thank you so much! I’ll know better next time!
