Help following chart

http://magknits.com/May06/patterns/argyle.htm THis is my pattern and I am making the smallest size. It says to start row 1 starting with stitch marked A. So does that mean
Row 1 K5 and then look to the right and start between D and E at the corner of the green box?
Row 2 Start and the left of the green box and K5 but then I end at A which way do I go then? When I made my swatch I just started at the bottom corner so now I am thinking too hard and getting mixed up.

For row 1, start at A then work from right to left in the green box over and over until you get to the last 12 stitches, then finish the chart.

For row 2, start at the left edge of the pattern, work across the box and repeat the box over and over until you get to the last 4 stitches and then finish the chart.

So I am always staying in the box? I never look outside the box? row 1 I K5 then do the purl 1 between D and E and then keep doing that row all 12sts from right to left? Row 2 I start right away at the left edge going right at the green line and repeat those 12sts until I get to the last 5sts and Purl them? Am I understanding you right? So that means when I increase on row 7 I am looking at the stitch between A and B and when I increase on row 15 I am looking at the stitch above B? I can’t remember, are increases always done on the right side?

I answered in your newest post how to do row one. Let’s take one row at a time rather than worry about when you have to increase. You’re making yourself crazy again. :fingerwag: :teehee:

Why don’t we keep all of your chart questions in that one other post so we call follow the progression.

You are right again, I will get these first 6 rows done then ask you where to go from there.
