I made it to the last row but I just don’t understand the last line of instructions
bind off 3 sts (got that) break yarn (huh) *place next st on rh needle and next 2 sts on holder. ( i think I understand that) join yarn(?) and bind off next 3 sts ( do I still have 2 stiches on my rh needle after this?) break yarn and place last stitch on rh needle(what?) :??
a link? I am a total newbie so please be patient.
A link to an online pattern or even a pic of the finished item, that we can click on to see the pattern.
I think you are cutting the wool and reattaching it a few stitches further along the row where you start doing something different. You could tie the wool onto the place where you need to start again and then untie the knot to weave in the end later. I often find it helpful to attach a safety pin to the knitted fabric and tie the wool to that.
When you cut, leave a long-enough tail to weave in later, don’t cut it close to the knitting.
Are there 12 stitches total at the start of this row? If the pattern’s not free online, can you post the preceding 2 rows to help us see what it’s doing?
