Hi I come from three generation of knitters. I’m in my 60s and knitting a pattern my grandmother knitted for my daughter I’m now knitting it for my grandson. It’s been years since I’ve done blackberry stitch and I know how to do the stitch but the pattern says BP 8 blackberry pattern 8 and I’m not sure what it means as if I make 8 blackberries I don’t have enough stitches for rest of patter
Welcome to the forum!
So nice that you are carrying on the knitting tradition in your family.
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
The blackberry stitch that I know is made with sets of 3sts, worked this way:

How are you working it? You can quote a row or two of the pattern if you think that might help. Don’t give us a large portion of the pattern due to designer copyright.
