Hello from Wales UK

I am new here, only joined today. I have a small wool shop and enjoy crochet and weaving, I do these more than knitting, my sister is the knitter in the family. Hoping to join in and enjoy this forum. I will need to look around and see what takes my eye.

Hi and welcome.

Welcome to Knitting Help! We have lots of crocheters here, too. Be sure to check out the crochet forum.

Hi!

Welcome to the Forum. It’s great to hear from someone in Wales.

Our family’s ancestral castle, Gwydir, is in Northern Wales, near Llanrwst. Spending a week there was one of the high points of my life. In fact, the ghost of my ancestor, Sir Ian Wynn, visited… my husband. I never did get to see Sir Ian.

The people felt instantly like family to me. I loved our time in Wales and dearly want to return.

Good to have you here,
Dot

Welcome, Gwyneth. This place is fun.

Hello! :waving: Welcome, aboard.

Hi and Welcome! My grandfather and grandmother immigrated from Wales back in 1914. I never got to know my grandpa - he died before I was born. But I loved my grandma and tried to mimic her accent when I was little. My dad was 41 when I was born and was the 8th of 9 children so she was close to 80 when I was born. I didn’t have her for too long, but her memory is very cherished

Hi Gwenyth,
