Healthy quiche **NO MEAT**

anyone got vegetable quiche recipes to share… i craved for healthy quiche lately but do not know how to…thanks

you mean without the egg and the cream and the cheese - style “healthy” ; or just “healthy” no meat?

Basic quiche mix - 4 eggs beaten, 2 cup cream. Mix together.
1 cup shredded cheese (or more)
1.5 cups “filling” - sauteed onion, mushrooms, peppers, celery, mixture, whatever.

put filling in a pie pan, sprinkle with cheese, pour over egg/cream - bake at 325 degrees approx 1 hour until set.

may be done in a pre-baked pie crust if desired (but Quiche really doesn’t need a crust)

I read the title of this thread as “healthy quickie”. :roflhard:

I make my quiche with 3 eggs and 1 can of evaporated milk along with salt pepper cayanne and nutmeg. Pour it into a crust filled with steamed or sauteed veggies and onions and some cheese and bake at 375 for 30-45 minutes until center is set. I have used fat free evaporated milk and it turns out fine.

What other kind is there? :teehee:
