Well even though I had a false start penalty, I got the bag knitted, felted, and dried in time to earn my gold medal. Full details of my Olympic adventures are on my blog.
HBC Booger gets gold medal!
Absolutely love it! I really need to try doing something felted. Great job!
Nifty!
My DH wants me to knit him a Hudson Bay styled sweater - now I can tease him about making a matching bag!
That’s a GREAT bag!! :cheering:

VERY nice!! :cheering:
Very pretty. I want to make one!!
Love the bag!!! What kind of yarn did you use? Alot of white yarn doesn’t felt. I love the stripes.

Ah thats a great bag!!!
Thanks for all the compliments everyone! I got a lot of "ooh"s and "ahh"s over it last night at my SnB. I was surprised at how eaily it felted too… especially with how my swatches didn’t seem to felt too easily. I used Patons Classic Wool for the cream, and Peer Gynt for the stripes. I want to run it through the washer once more to get some of the lint off of it, and maybe clean up the texture a bit.
ABSOLUTLY Beautiful!!!
I use clippers to get all the fuzzies off my felted bags. It works like a charm.

Ya… I had little balls of fuzz that I had to extricate before I dried it, but this is just plain ol’ fuzz that’s still stuck to the yarn itself… the stripes look knida burry because of it. Once it’s washed again, I’m hopping these fuzzies will ball up a bit more and give better definition to the stripes.
