I finally figured out that K number and have knitted the first part of the sleeve decrease (s,k2tog,psso) and I don’t like the look of that M1 increase at this point. I guess I am too much of a perfectionist because I just don’t get now if I am to increase 2 stitches at the marker EOR or should I increase 1 stitch K1 1 stitch THEN place the marker? That marker is the only way I have to know WHERE the inc. should be, but her instructions are too confusing.
I need to talk with someone who has made at least one of these and has worked out those initial confusing inst. made in the Knitting mag article that I have.
I don’t want to belabor someone who doesn’t have the time for me, so I’ll have to use my ONLY weapon of sympathy: I’m 74, with RA, and knitting other than PC genealogy is about all I can do anymore. But I DO love to meet new knitters (I’m also a weaver and a tatter and a musician and a widow. Have lots of time to fill in each day. I live in Ohio.
