I just finished the knitting portion of this shawl, so excited! I tried to spin as thin as I could, but don’t think its quite lace weight. Used size 4 circular needles from pattern I bought from Fiddlesticks. Still need to block it, but couldn’t wait to share!

So you did this yourself from the sheep up? Fantastic!! I’ll bet more than one of us would like to have wool on the hoof, but I don’t think I have the husbandry skills to pull it off. That color is so gorgeous! I have really been excited about yarns in their natural color lately and that piece really inspires me. Plus the idea that there are still people out there who are still working something from start to finish is awesome. Please post a photo after it’s blocked.
