Halloween candy recall

I wanted to post this up for everyone who has little ones they are taking out on Halloween.

According to Snopes.com, on Oct. 8, 2008, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a warning that Sherwood brand Pirate’s Gold Milk Chocolate Coins, imported from China, has tested positive for Melamine.

:hair: Thanks for telling everyone!

I buy that type of candy for christmas to put into the kids stockings. Guess this year I won’t be buying that candy. Thanks again for the heads up.

:waving:

Thanks for letting us know!! I do the same thing for Christmas stockings too :wall:

Apparently there is claim the only coins affected are the ones that were shipped to Canada, but, I just don’t trust much anymore and if my kids get any of those tomorrow, they’re going straight to the trash!

That’s what was used in the pet foods. I wondered if the pet foods was just a test before using it for humans.
