Hello. I am currently making the Guernsey Sweater by Sandes Garn. I am struggling with where to begin my increases for the armhole in the back in chart A. The pattern says to begin the increase rows when 6 rows remain in Chart A and increase every other row 3x for the xs size.
If I begin the increase rows at the specified time my stitch count doesn’t correspond with the pattern. If anyone has made this pattern and can offer some help, I would be grateful. Thank you in advance!
Welcome to the forum!
What are the stitch counts before and after the increases? Are you increasing at each end of the row?
There are a couple of complaints about the pattern but the notes from one knitter were especially helpful. See if they help with the stitch count and chart A

There’s also reference on the Ravelry page to errata for this pattern:

Thank you for your response. Is it acceptable for me to attach a photo of a portion of the pattern?
What stitch count do you get before the last 6 rows? What do you have after the completion of chart A?
It looks like 122sts before the increases at each end. (120 + 2 edge sts)
After the increases totaling 6sts that would be 126 + 2 edge sts.
Then the pattern ends with decreases, 126 - 20 = 106. With the 2 edge sts that’s 108sts.
For some reason the chart doesn’t account for those increases at each end as described in the text.
