Hello. I am knitting a cardigan for my daughter. I finished the back, and the size seems to be right. I am now working on one of the front pieces, and it measures 7 inches wide, but the pattern says it should be 7.5. My gauge is right, so I don’t understand why there is this discrepancy. Is it possible that the pattern measurement incorrect? I see no other possibility. My question is, should I worry about this? And, if so, what should I do? Thanks.
I think the most important thing is if it will fit your daughter. That’s all that really matters.
Could it be that you have to add an edging later on?
Duh! I forgot about the edging! (Now it will probably be a little too big!) Thanks, Ingrid… You are the knitting guru!! :XX:
