Izzy is knitting something green …
I loooove that show! I missed it last night but saw a preview of her knitting. Remember when Meredith was “knitting” a blue sweater & Izzie was pulling it out & fixing it- knitting some rows so Meredith thought she was making progress? Too funny.
I notice knitting in movies & TV now that I do it!
It looked like she was really knitting too. She knits in real-life so it’s entirely possible. It looked like some chunky yarn and big needles. She finished it in a day, but she wasn’t doing anything else and didn’t have any distractions.
Yep- I just went to abc.com & watched it- she did knit it. (or at least knit on it for the show - I read somewhere that she does knit so probably she did it.) Looked like a garter stitch pattern to me.
HA! I watched that too, and nearly jumped on here to say the same thing. (but had to find out whether she lived or died, so jumping on here had to wait! LOL)
I was thrilled to see “real knitting” too! A quick garter stitch for the camera’s sake. And yes, I’m sure the thick yarn and needles were so that the prop/costume manager could crank it out quickly for the shoot schedule.
Still, great fun to see.

Do y’all think that Izzy is getting ready to ‘fly away’ to bigger and better ‘offers’ in Hollywood? Is the show going to ‘off’ Izzy?
I’m afraid she’s outgrown Grey’s. I hope she stays. I want to see more of her smiling, angelic face!
Remember Carter on ER? He ‘outgrew’ ER, and that was about the last we ever heard of him.
Of course, George Clooney did MAKE IT BIG after leaving ER…but not a lot of them do like he did.
It seems like she might be on her way out. They made a huge deal about the 5% survival rate. On the other hand maybe they just want us to think she won’t make it so it is a miracle when she actually survives.
I saw something a while ago that said she and George were leaving Grey’s. I used to like George a lot more than I do now. I am hoping they can redeem his character a little before he leaves if it is true.
Just read on the ET tonight site that Izzy is now ready to stay on Grey’s, if they will have her. I hope they keep her. I actually like her character more than I do Meredith. But I LOVE GREY"S!!!
On a sad note, tonight is ER last episode :-(:waah: I have watched every episode for the last 15 years. I worked in the Cath lab at the hospital for 10 years. Every morning after an episode the nurses and the Dr’s would disect at great length the episode of the night before. It was pretty funny
Hey Ginny~ What did you mean “she’s ready to stay if they’ll have her”? I haven’t been up on the buzz. Was the show ready to tank her? Or, was she asking for more money, and the show wasn’t going to budge?
I like Izzy’s character MUCH MORE than Meredith. Sometimes I find Meredith whiny and pathetic. Tiresome.
Izzy is always interesting!
Actually, Izzy is a better actress, regardless of the ‘part’.

There had been some hoopla about “Izzy” complaining about her character not having good story lines and that she was trying to get out of her contract. Now she wants to stay but isn’t sure they want her to.
Totally agree about McDreamy not being so dreamy at his prolonged pity party.
I love that show! I pretty much like all the characters. I like the fact that they are all different and it’s fun to watch the interplay between them. If they were all sweet like Izzy it’d be pretty boring.:lol:

As much as I love GA, I think Katherine H. may have gotten too big for her scrubs! I’m just not too sure about her.

When you’re a BIG HIT on a TV series, it doesn’t always follow suit that you will also be a BIG HIT in the land of motion picture films!

Yes Izzy was knitting a chunky lime green garter stitch scarf for Miranda. Just before they put her under she told Miranda that the scarf was hers. At the end of the show you see Miranda leaving the hospital with the scarf around her neck.
I’d miss Izzy if she was not on Grey’s. She has had several movie hits, the most famous being “Knocked Up” which I thought was hilarious. Hopefully Grey’s will keep her on the show now. We shall see!
I like Grey’s too, but I often works nights so I don’t always get to see it. I would miss Izzy if she were gone because then people would stop coming up to me and telling me I could be her twin! It’s not so much now that she cut her hair, but when it was longer I had people telling me that everyday. Oh poor me, eh?
OK, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Grey’s but can’t ever watch it because it’s on when I have to put kids to bed, ect…
I watch it online in my studio and haven’t been able to get caugh up since we found out that Izzy was sick. I still don’t know with what and didn’t read the later posts in this tread b/c I didn’t want to spoil it!!! I’m so glad to hear that so many people still like it because all my Grey’s friends have deserted the show. My OBGYN was totally into the show as well and it’s all we talked about throughout my most recent pregnancy and all the way through my 45 minute C-Section!! It was so great to have my mind on something else!
I can’t wait to see Izzy knitting, I loved it when she made Denny the sweater and helped Meredith with hers, too funny!!!
